The presented image pairs serve as experimental juxtapositions – visual studies exploring the transformation of the streetscape within the tension field between motorized individual transport and urban livability. The starting point is the question of what spatial, ecological, and social potential lies hidden in the areas currently occupied by traffic.


By removing vehicles and collage-like inserting alternative uses, a speculative composition emerges that transcends the purely functional. The images are intentionally utopian and exaggerated, aiming less to depict a concrete design proposal than to articulate an attitude:
to understand the street as a mutable, adaptive urban space.
